GRP Composite Flat Sheet & Anti Slip Products

Basingstoke Station – Fybagard Glazing

Basingstoke Station in Hampshire has had a chequered life since it first opened in the 1830s but still remains a vital rail link for local and long distance rail services to the North and West.  Recently the station has undergone a major refurbishment project part of which included the installation of a large quantity of Smyth Composites Georgian Wire Refinforced GRP Glazing – FYBAGARD.  Already installed in many other stations throughout the network, Fybagard was specified because not only does it look good but importantly it is shatterproof which is exactly what the contractors were looking for considering the potential health and safety implications when dealing with large numbers of the general public.
