GRP Stair Treads  Installation(*).

          Ensure the area is clean, dry and free from flaking paint or coatings. Chip off any high points, whilst filling or packing any severe gaps or holes. Place the loose tread onto the surface and be sure that it sits reasonably flat.
           Drill two holes on each side of the GRP Stair Tread approx. 10mm from the edge, and repeat the same on the back edge. Insert suitable screws to complete mechanical fix.
Additionally, use polyurethane mastic or expanding foam adhesive on the underside to ensure a contact bond and prevent 'rocking'.
